Privacy policy

The protection and security of data, as defined in article 13 of our GTC, is very important to Dataleon.

The following privacy policy, as part of our terms of use, is intended to regulate the collection, appropriate use and access to data in connection with subscription to the Dataleon website and platform.


Article 1. Lawfulness of processing - access to the site, products and services

The privacy policy must be accepted by all users who visit the website or subscribe to the Dataleon service, and for each modification of our privacy policy.

In the event of non-acceptance of the privacy policy, the user must refuse access to all services available on the website and, where applicable, to Dataleon's services.

For the purposes of processing the data required to use the Young App services, the customer explicitly authorizes Dataleon to process the user's data from the moment of subscription to the Young App service.

Article 4. Collected data

Some data is provided directly by you when you subscribe to or use the Dataleon service, and other data is collected automatically thanks to technologies used by Dataleon, in particular when you interact with the website.

Data collected directly from the User:

First name / last name,
Employer's name,
Profile on social networks,
E-mail address identifying a natural person,
Home address identifying a legal entity,
Telephone number identifying a legal entity,
Billing information identifying a natural or legal person,
Account name (login) and password,
Comments, feedback, questions, contributions,

The data collected passively from you when you visit our website or use the Dataleon service (connection and navigation data and data recorded via cookies) includes the information listed below:

Information about your computer; the type of your connection, the type and version of your Internet browser, your device's operating system, as well as the device's unique identifier ("UDID") and other technical identifiers,
URL address of your connections, including date and time, with any content you can access with the Dataleon service application,

Data collected from publicly available sources includes all public information of a natural person related to the company for which the user works, such as work position in the company or LinkedIn profile.


Article 5. Purposes of data processing

Data may be collected and processed by Dataleon and its subcontractors for the purposes of :

To provide the Dataleon service, optimize its use and offer appropriate support;
To carry out billing in accordance with the contract;
To communicate any updates on products and services;
To give you the opportunity to personalize the Dataleon service and allow you to select the content you wish to have access to and share with a third party;
To analyze your data, which will enable us to improve the Young App service, identify any trends and determine the effectiveness of the Dataleon service;
Prevent and detect potential threats to the security of our products or services, fraud or any other illegal activity;
Fulfill contractual and legal obligations, resolve conflict situations and enforce our contracts;
Authorize the delivery of e-mails and e-marketing campaigns and promotions, keep our customers informed of updates and upcoming events;
Maintain a history of all operations occurring during the contractual relationship.


Article 6. Basis of data processing

The above treatment is based on :

The customer's consent to the use of cookies for certain purposes and the use of data for commercial sourcing purposes;
The customer's consent where the customer has not subscribed to the Dataleon service at Dataleon itself.
Performance of the Dataleon user contract signed with the former customer.
Where data processing is based on the customer's consent, the customer has the right to withdraw consent at any time.

An unsubscribe link will be sent to the user by Dataleon in newsletters and marketing e-mails.

Users may permanently delete their accounts, as specified in the Terms of Use (see article 8).


Article 7. Recipients and data collected

The User is hereby informed and accepts that the recipients of the data (excluding the subcontractors referred to in article 8) are as follows:

Dataleon departments, affiliates or subsidiaries using data: sales department, marketing department, accounting department.

User data collected :

Employer's name;
Social media profile;
E-mail address enabling a natural person to be identified;
Home address enabling a natural person to be identified;
Telephone number enabling a natural person to be identified;
Billing information enabling us to identify a natural legal person;
Account name (identifier);
Comments, reactions, questions, contributions;
Any other data that the user may voluntarily share.
Authorized third parties who are subject to the French Data Protection Act and to the regulations in force, undertake to process data in accordance with these GCU.

Data will only be communicated to Dataleon to offer and improve its services. It will not be disclosed to third parties for use in their marketing activities.

Please note that content created via the Dataleon service (processes, comments, polls, etc.) can be uploaded by the administrator.


Article 8. Subcontractors

Dataleon works with subcontractors.

Dataleon shall ensure that one or all of the subcontractors employed provide the guarantees required to maintain the implementation of all appropriate techniques and organization, so that the processing meets all legal requirements.


Article 9. International transfer of data outside the European Union

The User has been informed that data may be shared with third parties located using servers outside the European Union, in countries where data protection laws may differ from European Union laws.

In this specific case, Dataleon will ensure that the User has been properly advised and that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the new applicable legislation and guarantees sufficient protection for a web application of the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals in accordance with the policy (in particular with the contractual clauses of the European Commission).

Article 10. Declaration to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL)

In accordance with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et LibertΓ©s), the automated processing of personal data carried out on this site has been declared to the CNIL under number 1989871 v 0.


Article 11. Users' rights to their data

In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, the User has the right to access, rectify, delete, limit or object to the processing of data, the right to define instructions for the retention, deletion and communication of data after his or her death, and the right to data portability. .

Right of access: Users may receive a copy of their data in their possession.

Article 12. Data security and confidentiality

Data collected by Dataleon is stored in a secure environment.

To ensure data security, Dataleon relies on the following measures:

Article 13. Dataleon's data retention period

Dataleon's data retention period is limited to the duration of use of the Dataleon service by the user, subject to compliance with applicable legal provisions. However, the necessary data may be kept for commercial prospecting and/or conservation purposes for a maximum of 3 years from the end of use of the Dataleon service.

Navigation data collected from a single visit to the site by the user will be kept for a maximum of 50 months.
